Intel HD 2500 win7 driver

Hello,

I'm looking for a Windows7 x64 SP1 driver for the infamous Intel® HD Graphics 2500.

The latest driver listed for this OS on Intel's site:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29969/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-33-

says that "The computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"

Which is against all logic. Of course Intel doesn't provide support for discontinued products, nor update the link on their website.

(Windows update provided driver is full of OpenGL segfaults)

Oddly enough, when I check on ARK, it shows me only IVB processors, not SNB. Here is the one SNB package I have in my archive: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AtacZBU04mo-jd55vnlA6Zs_P-LVxQ. Give it a try...

Same error message.

I specifically uninstalled previous intel drivers, restarted PC.

It's integrated into HP compaq 8200. HP provided driver is old and buggy.

Intel should at least provide some log file with details about the rejection. That's just common sense.

You are running Windows 7, a discontinued, end of life, unsupported O/S. What you see is what you get.
Sorry, but this is the reality of the situation,

I found the install log file:

[INF Info]
INF = C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\DB356FC1D83E4FD43254947A71A8828158601632\Graphics\igdlh64.inf
HardwareID = iIVBD_w7,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0152
HardwareID = iIVBD_w7,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_015A
HardwareID = iIVBD_w7,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0162
HardwareID = iIVBD_w7,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_016A
HardwareID = iIVBM_w7,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0156
HardwareID = iIVBM_w7,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0166
HardwareID = iVLV2M_w7,PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F31

Didn't find any INF's that match active hardware

Mine is
Intel HD Graphics PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0102 Sandy Bridge

Thank you this one worked!

I would expect this one to be on the product page.

Cheers!

Nope, not going to happen; no postings for products over 6 years old. Drivers for 3rd gen will be pulled down fairly soon as well as the last entries pass their discontinued and end of interactive support dates.
I hate that Intel is doing this, but my complaints have fallen on deaf ears.
