Hey there, I have been struggling with this problem since I started playing Arma 3 on my laptop. It just happens randomly while playing.
I have Intel HD 4000 on board and I have tried the latest Intels driver and the previous one, that are available in the download section. It didn't resolve the problem.
I have the latest BIOS installed. I am out of ideas what to do...
I'm also trying to attach my DxDiag file to this post and I can't find the way to do it
Edit.
It seems I am not the only one with this issue.

Unfortuently this solution is not working for me.

Hi Zydy, thanks for contacting us through the Intel communities.
Since you already have the latest BIOS available for you system and latest graphics drivers, please uninstall the current graphics driver from device manager and then download and install the latest graphics driver again. You can get it at the following link:

The game does not appear to be on the list of playable games for your graphics controller, in other words you would need to check compatibility with the game developer. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033387.htm Graphics — Sample of popular games playable with Intel® HD Graphics 4000/2500
Also make sure you load the setting of the game to the lowest as possible. BIOS needs to be update, latest graphics drivers and game patches.
You may also want to try installing the Video driver provided by Sony http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVT131190X&upd_id=8557&os_group_id=6 http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVT131190X&upd_id=8557&os_group_id=6

Here are the minimal requirements for the game http://www.arma3.com/buy# requirements http://www.arma3.com/buy# requirements and Intel HD 4000 is listed as minimal. I am running the game on lowest settings, I did apply lots of solutions for better performance, however it seems that it has nothing to do with the driver crash. I am running the latest version of the game, with the latest BIOS available and I have also tested latested graphic drivers and also the previous version that is available in the download section.
Sony drivers are one year old and not for my Windows version, however I did tried them. They made CPU temp is much higher and the game is still crashing.
The driver crashes after playing the game after few minutes or even after one hour... my guess it has something to do with the video memory.

Any response form the engineers?
I think I have found the solution here http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?147598-Endless-DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED-Crashes http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?147598-Endless-DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED-Crashes
It seems that it works with driver version 15.28.12.64.2932
Same issue was reported here:
Link to the old driver version that works fo me: http://fichiers.touslesdrivers.com/36608/Win64_152812.exe http://fichiers.touslesdrivers.com/36608/Win64_152812.exe
Any chance for getting a fix in next driver version?

Yes, game still crashes with "driver stopped responding and has recovered". Tested with 3621 64-bit version.

The solution is the same as the one I posted two months ago - downgrading to significantly older version of the driver. Any chance for a fix in future driver update release?

Sorry to hijack this thread, but the 'solution' given in your link is "Fixed. Downgraded my driver to 9.17.10.2932".
This is actually the workaround (be it unacceptable, since the driver is from December 2012) I came up with some time ago:
So is there any progress at all on this matter?
Regards.

I would also like to hear about some progress on this matter... especially it was reported long time ago by many people...
