Hello. I'm currently having a problem with regards to my graphics driver, Intel HD 4000. I cannot seem to make it work. I uninstalled a 2013 version to update it, however whenever I try to install the latest one, it says it's not validated to I updated to the 2nd latest one.
As you can see below, the drivers installed but whenever I enable them, nothing happens and the adapter that's still in use is the basic display one.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Edit: Here are my laptop specs.

Hello, Zerone:
Thank you for contacting the Intel Communities.
I would like to know, have you tested using the SW Update software from your OEM? http://orcaservice.samsungmobile.com/SWUpdate.aspx http://orcaservice.samsungmobile.com/SWUpdate.aspx
If that link is does not start the download, please visit: http://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/NP870Z5E-X01AU http://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/NP870Z5E-X01AU
While using OEM systems like yours, the recommendation is to download and install the drivers from your computer's manufacturer website.
This is to avoid losing any special features or settings while using the generic drivers from Intel®.
With that said, if the drivers from your OEM still don't work, I have some recommendations for you.
1. Test your system with the generic drivers from Intel: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24973/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit?product=81499 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24973/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit?product=81499
If you are not able to install them you can try this method: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html
In the case were you continue having the compatibility error, it would be better to contact your OEM directly to see which drivers can work for you, the OEMs are entitled to "block" or restrict the installation of third party drivers to avoid issues while using them, for that reason my recommendation in the case where you are still not able to get them to work properly.
If any additional questions or inquiries are present, feel free to contact us back.
Regards,
Esteban C
