i've downloaded windows 10 and update the graphic driver to the latest one 15.40.4.64.4256 ..
but the graphic card stopped working properly and when i checked the details about my hardware support for directX it appear that its still on 11.2 not 12.. without doing anything there is a notification comes and say " Intel HD 4600 has stopped working and been recovered "..
and when i open a game a blue screen come with error message inside "the pc ran into an error VDR-TDR-FAILURE igdkmd64.sys"..
can anyone help me to solve this problem??

Translated by Google.
Integrated GPU -> Intel HD 4600
NVIDIA GPU -> GeForce GTX 860m
I have the same configuration with WIN 10. Upon completion of the game WOT is a black screen and then the blue death with error message VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE igdkmd64.
This error will be corrected in the new version of the driver?

Same issue here. Sometimes the driver stops working and restarts, but mostly the whole computer either frozes or goes to BSOD. Pretty annoying. I have i7-4702HQ with HD 4600 and nVidia GT750 in Dell XPS 15.
Hope it's resolved soon...

Hello MohBrkat,
Are You sure You have the latest driver installed?
Your DxDiag log tells You're on the driver 4248.

Hello All,
We really appreciate you are reporting problems with the new Operating System and the driver we currently have available.
Remember that this is a very new Operating System and we have released drivers that also can fail (this is not the plan) but we are working towards a solution.
In the meantime, please try uninstalling completely the driver from the system. Here you have the steps:
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034574.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034574.htm
Once uninstalled, download/install the latest driver we currently have available:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25150/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graphics-Production-Driver-for-Windows-10-64-bit https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25150/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graphics-Production-Driver-for-Windows-10-64-bit
If you find problems during the installation of this driver, try these steps:
/docs/DOC-22542 https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-22542
As part of the troubleshooting, you guys/gals should consider updating the BIOS to the latest version provided by the Computer Manufacture.

yes and they didn't solve it yet..i also tried the latest graphics driver(i think its 4279) .. but the problem still.. i get enough of Intel too.. i wish that i have an AMD cause its a better graphics card..
btw i recommend that you don't use WINDOWS 10 for now .. wait 1 year or 2 and maybe all the problems will be fixed .. roll back to windows 8.1 its much better..
and yes Intel don't care about solving this problem .. they are just making support for newer graphics card 6th generation etc..

Can You please post a detailed step-by-step instruction of what You do to get that BSOD?
i.e.
1. start a web browser (Firefox)
2. start a game XYZ
3. Settings are ZYX
4. Start the game YZX
Also detailed HW spec (at least processor name - for instance i5-4200U) could help significantly!

It was a pain, but I made an account here just to reply and say a big THANK YOU!!!! to Caesar B. for that latest driver. At first it would not install for me, but after I uninstalled my old one and restarted, it has been working GREAT. Before this, my Intel driver would crash every time about a minute into Hungry Shark Evolution and other random games and programs. Now with this new driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25489/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen- Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 [15.40][4th Gen] everything seems to be working very well. I am happy and thankful for this community and I hope that this new 4300 driver solves everyone's issues as it did mine.
