Hi,
I have more ongoing problems with intel graphics, this seems to be a never ending story firstly FO4... and other games
I know this Tablet is not a power Superhouse!
but it's of decent specs..
HP Spectre X2 (8GB RAM) 500GB SSD Skylake 6Y54 Processor
Can you please test with 6y54 processors, the skyrim se wont launch.
goes into a black screen when trying to launch the game from the Launcher.
I am running latest Website Beta 4539
EDIT: I have tried 4530, 4501 both fail also...
It seems that the issue is very odd! I have tried many different settings in the intel graphics control panel, i have also tried many variations of configuring the skyrim launcher settings...
I see on my desktop computers that the skyrim game will launch very quickly.
but on this I see the memory usage in Task manager load the memory for this game very slowly.. maybe taking 10 seconds to reach 300MB ram usage
by 10 seconds on a desktop it will be 1.5GB ram usage
the tablet computer 6y54, will also just stay black screen with 100% cpu usage until I force quit the game
I hear no sound, which begs me to think this might be part of the issue? maybe the compatibility of audio is it?
I ask Intel to look into this ASAP as I love using this tablet to make mods, and I have in the past helped you(intel) with getting FO4 working.. beta testing etc
Please kindly send me private messages for Pre Beta/Alpha Drivers to test for you.
EDIT: I have TRIED update audio driver ... NO LUCK
Await your messages

Hello ToxsickcitY:
On the following link you will find the recommended settings to play Skyrim, that is always an option that you can try in order for the game to work properly:
https://gameplay.intel.com/GamesSettings/8630/88202/intel-core-m5-6y54-processor-br-4m-cache-up-to-2-70-ghz- https://gameplay.intel.com/GamesSettings/8630/88202/intel-core-m5-6y54-processor-br-4m-cache-up-to-2-70-ghz-
At this point you basically tried all the drivers that we have available for Intel® HD Graphics 515 graphics controller, but we can try now the one provided by HP, you just need to select the operating system on the link below:
http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=6431999 http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=6431999
Please let me know the results of trying that driver.
Any questions, please let me know.

Hi,
I have an update,
Yes the latest driver has allowed to play,
But..
The game takes upto 5 minutes before the game menu is shown
This is actually evient in previous drivers
The game sits as a black screen for so long then suddenly it displays bethesda logo and menu...
I did a small test and seen that the game process in task manager increases ram usage extremely slowly.
I dont know if that helps..
maybe you can look at why this happens?
Fallout 4 launches very quickly, so this is a game bug i think maybe intel can remedy this?

Hello ToxsickcitY:
Thank you very much for providing that information.
In regard to your question, yes since Fallout 4 works fine this could be very well a game bug.
Another troubleshoot step that we can try will be to delete the game registry, to do a fresh installation of it.
How did you get the game, did you get it from steam?
If that is the case to delete the game registry please follow the instruction on the link below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnceR1iOH2U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnceR1iOH2U
If the problem remains, since you just installed driver 4542, we need to update the previous information that you gave us.
So, please fill the following chart with as much information as possible, this is in order for us to try to replicate the case in our lab:
CategoryQuestionsAnswers (N/A if not applicable)DescriptionProvide a detailed description of the issue Please place an X to the right of the option showing how often you see this issue using specific steps.
