Hello chanyk22,
I understand that after installing latest graphics driver the second monitor is not being detected.
Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.
In order to help you better I would like to gather more information about the configuration you have in the computer. Please attach to this thread the .txt file the Intel® System Support Utility will generate https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility
Please also attach the Intel Graphics Driver Report. This link will show you how to generate it http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005848.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005848.html
Are you using a HDMI to HDMI cable?
What is the behavior of the computer when you connect the second monitor?
To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.
Regards,
Fred

Hello chanyk22,
Thanks for the information you sent to me.
There is newer version of the graphics driver that was recently posted on our website, and I would like you to try installing that one. Since your computer comes with two video cards the graphics drivers need to be installed in a specific order.
I would like you to uninstall our graphics driver first. On the keyboard press WinLogo key + r, then type in devmgmt.msc, double click on Display Adapters -> Intel HD Graphics 630 -> Driver tab -> Uninstall -> Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device -> OK, but do not restart the computer yet.
Please uninstall also nVidia graphics driver. Under Display Adapters category double click on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 -> Driver tab -> Uninstall -> Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device -> OK, and then restart the computer.
Download our graphics driver from this link https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26772/eng/win64_154518.4664.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26772/eng/win64_154518.4664.zip
Install our graphics driver first using the steps that are on this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY
Restart the computer, and then reinstall NVIDIA driver from this link http://download.msi.com/nb_drivers/vga/Win10_x64_HDA(375.63)-1014629-01.zip http://download.msi.com/nb_drivers/vga/Win10_x64_HDA(375.63)-1014629-01.zip
Test the system, and let me know if issue persists or not.
Regards,
Fred

I'm having this same problem. I tried installing the drivers as you said, but my second monitor is still not working. Also, when I go into the intel control panel, displays, and try to enable multiple monitors it says the program has stopped working and shuts down the control panel.

Intel,
I just bought a Avell Titanium G1540 Lite (The same Sager 8950 in US) and I'm having EXACTLY the same problem of chanyk22.
The 2nd monitor shows image, but it doesn't appear on Intel Grapic Control Panel, so I can't customize some things such as image proportion and many others.
Please help me.

João

Hello everyone,
I think - and this is technically possible - that on your laptops the video output is actually connected to the Nvidia discrete graphics card. To confirm this, open the Nvidia control panel and check if the monitor is detected there.
I am also wondering if you already contacted your computer manufacturer for further advice?
Kindest Regards,
Ronald M.

Hello Ronald,
Thanks for your help.
GeForce is the opposite: it shows my Samsung SmartTV, but not the laptop monitor.
Besides, looks like optimus is not active, HWINFO shows GeForce using 3% of its capacity just using offices apps and emails. In my old laptop, GeForce only got activated when I started a game or heavy 3D app.

Hello! I am having the same problem with the 2nd monitor and Windows 10. I've been using this PC for 11 months with two monitors and recently in the past week or two the 2nd monitor is not detected. I have a StarTech switch which I use for my work laptop docking station and through that both monitors are working. I also physically switched the cables and got the 2nd monitor to work as a 1st monitor using VGA. So it seems my display adapter no longer likes the DVI port.
--'Detect' says I don't have a 2nd monitor
--Update device driver tells me I have the latest driver
--Rollback device driver does not enable
Can you please help walk me through getting the proper device driver installed?
