Hi,
For over a month now, my intel graphics driver hasn't been functioning properly and it's driving me nuts. I have tried everything I found on the net, nothing works. The intel graphics control panel doesn't open, the intel graphics settings that come up when you right click on the desktop doesn't exist. When I open display settings it shows that I have 5 screens, whereas I only have my laptop screen. When I connect my laptop to TV, it doesn't work.

Let's try updating your current driver version to this version; https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26347/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-, use this method for the installation; http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html

The last four digits of the driver will indicate the version, in your case .4539 was successfully installed. Now, the driver I provided should have addressed the issue you are reporting, but let's try with a newer version; https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26229/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?product=81496 Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 [15.40][4th Gen], use the same method mentioned above.
