Laptop: HP Zbook 14 (J3M46PA)
Bios: L71 Ver. 01.46 (previously rolled back from 1.49)
Current Graphics Driver: 20.19.15.5171 (HP specific driver has same issue - 20.19.15.5107)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4600U
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Symptoms:
After restart recently. VGA stopped working, graphics card is disable by Device Manager.
Works fine in Ubuntu 20.04 using glmark2.
So far I've tried:
- clean install using various versions of driver (no internet, disabled windows auto install)
- DDU
- roll back bios
- DISM CheckHealth - fine
- sfc scannow - corrupt files fixed
Basically these links:
Given it works in Ubuntu, I can't see the issue being HW related.
Any advice appreciated - trying to avoid reinstall of Windows...
Cheers,
Chris
