Hello, is there any estimate of when will release the driver for Intel processors 2nd Generation for Windows 10? Because this list: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034343.htm Graphics Drivers — Supported Operating Systems there is already a driver for other generations of less 2nd. =/
Sorry my bad English. 😞

The Intel® HD Graphics 2000/3000 is part of the 2nd generation graphics, please bear in mind the support for Windows 10 begins from 3rd generation graphics hardware.
The Intel® HD Graphics 2000/3000 does not have support for Windows 10.

But because the native driver for Windows 10 for 2nd will not be released? I can even use the Windows 8.1 but it has many bugs and memory consumption by the "System" process driver gets too high, coming close to 2 gb..

At this point there are no plans on releasing Windows 10 drivers for the second generation Intel Graphics Controller. You can try the latest driver from our side at this link:

Hello Kevin,
Would you please advice of the fixes or additional support features of the windows 10 driver for intel hd 3000 v9.17.10.4459 you recently supplied Microsoft windows update catalog site? I would be grateful if intel reports additional information for their new driver. Is it just stability driver fixes??? or are there any other improvements, SUCH AS OPENGL V 3.3 or OPENCL 1.2 GPU support?? . I though you were not planning in supporting windows 10 x64. This came as a surprise to me.
Regards
Panayiotis

This is what I got from Intel Tech Support
Hello Marcos,
Thank you for visiting the Intel ARK web site. From what I've heard from Intel Support, Intel does not have plans to develop Windows 10 graphics drivers for the 2nd Generation Intel Core Processor family. Please visit your laptop manufacturer's web site for the latest drivers and updates specific to that laptop system.
If you wish to connect with Intel Support, that group can be reached through the Support web site:
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html
Best regards,
Lori Yung

So Intel doesn't care in updating a driver for an OS that is based on Windows 8. That way it forces the user to buy a newer Laptop (being that you cant just change the CPU on Lenovo W520).
A $1,300 laptop out dated in a few years.

I have downloaded and used the drivers from Intel and Dell and Microsoft (all the same)... but several things I found, 1. you can use an external monitor, if possible, in a pinch & 2. IF you install the DotNet 3.5 and restart the machine, it works most of the time.

This is a FIVE year old thread. You should have started a new thread.
To save you time, there is no Intel graphics driver for Windows 10.
All you have is the Microsoft generic graphics driver, which lacks features and performance.
Short answer - Get a new or newer system that is supported by Windows 10.

Nah can't speak about Windows 10 because people signed a contract saying they can't modify or fix it for free but Ubuntu has a fix for it.
