Hello everyone,
I tried to update my Intel HD Graphic driver to the 15.28.15.64.3062 version that came out 03/21/2013 and I'm pretty sure I don't have that version.
I downloaded the zip and the exe version but in both case it showed me the same error message:
"this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"
I checked and I do have all the requirements that are written in the "Installation_Readme" file. I'm only not sure about the third condition which is:
"There should be sufficient hard disk space in the directory on the system in order to install this software" because I don't know where to find
that information but i think I have space because I have about 20 GB free on my C/ disk.
These are my computer information:
Computer : Toshiba Satellite L655 PSK1EE
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M370 @2.40GHz
System type : 64-bit Operating System
Windows Edition : Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
If it's not enough just tell me what to add and how to find the information about it.
Thanks For Your Help!

I cannot update the driver for the Intel HD 4000, I get an error saying:
This operating system is not supported.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and I have downloaded win64_153318.exe. So, why isn't it working?
I have an Acer Aspire V3-771G, and all that Acer has on it's site is a very old version of the driver.

2 days ago there was some problem with my computer. It somehow went to High contrast mode and wouldnt switch to normal. I somehow solved the problem as Themes services and some other was disabled. But other features like Aero were not working. Upon troubleshooting it showed that my driver is unsupported. As my driver was problematic, i uninstalled it so that it can reinstall itself.
But now Display adapter is giving a lot of problems. I didnt had the CD so i tried Automatically search and install feature of windows. I also tried some local default driver that is Intel(R) HD graphics family and Intel (R) HD graphics. In both case windows says they are installed correctly...
But the problem is this: After successful installation it says to reboot. After i reboot in the notification it says that the driver is searching in preconfigured folders and installing.
It mostly fails. And the device manager show the same VGA controller (VGA compatible) with error "Reinstall the drivers for this device. (Code 18)".
In some cases it shows successful installation but then ask for reboot following the above scenario...
After this I tried to download drivers. I have downloaded and tried 1. win32_152822 2.GFX_Win7_Win8_Win8.1_32_9.17.10.3347 3. GFX_Win7_8_8.1_32_10.18.10.3496
However it still the same. If it install, same above procedure. winSAT will run but will give errors. Or else it will say ""Your computer does not meet the minimum requirement for installing the software."
Also in moniter properties the section with Adapter is blank. I guess its currently using default windows driver and will reinstall it every reboot.
I am really frustrated from this and its going on for 2 days. None of my programs with OpenGL will work due to this.
Plz help me @kevin_intel u r my only hope now.
I tried to give as many as possible information. Still if it lacks something plz tell me and i will try my best with it.
Sorry for my bad english.

I need some help. I just ordered a new computer and the game I play says my Graphics driver is out of date. When I checked on the download center it says that there is a newer version. I've tried both the 64 and 32 bit downloads but neither one of them works on the computer. This one is running the Intel HD Graphics 4600. Version: 10.18.10.3282 and the newer version is 15.33.22.64.3621.
The 64 bit said that is was not partitioned to the computer, and the 32 bit just said that it was not compatible, please help?

I understand and I am sorry for the inconvenience.
In the case you have tried the steps mentioned above and issue persists, the best option is to contact the Computer Manufacture and get their special drivers for your unit.

Hello chaseskibbs,
The latest driver for your graphics controller can be downloaded at the following link:
It is important to say that It is a generic driver for your computer. This is because we as Intel®, provide the hardware to the system manufacturer and they will design their own custom drivers specifically for their systems.
If during the installation of the Intel generic drivers you get this message: "driver not validated on this computer", go here for further instructions:

Thanks.

Hello,
I've been having trouble installing a new driver for quite a while now.
Games and programs tell me my: "Intel (R) HD Graphics (TM) Family" driver is out of date or something, so I went here and tried finding the right one to install, no luck yet..
Latest one I tried was: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22521&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20Home%20Premium%2C%2064-bit%20version*&DownloadType=Drivers Download Center of course I got a bug, because it apparently isn't the right one, or so I believe. I installed that driver because DxDiag says: chip-type: "Intel (R) HD Graphics Family", and Processor: "Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-2410M CPU 2.30GHz (4CPUs) ~2.3GHz", which i would say fits the "Intel (R) Core (TM) Processors with Intel (R) HD Graphics", right??
Well here's the rest of my Computer information, just say if something else is needed.
Product: Packard Bell, EasyNote TS44HR
OS: Windows 7 x64 Home Premium, (6.1, build 7601)
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-2410M CPU 2.30GHz (4CPUs) ~2.3GHz
Videocard?: Intel (R) HD Graphics (TM) Family
Standard Screen resolution: 1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
"Head driver": igdumd64-dll,igd10umd64.dll,igd10urr
Memory: 8,192 GB RAM

Hello Josefandersen7,
Please note that we have four Intel® HD Graphics nowadays. The processor model i5-2410M comes with the Intel® HD Graphics 3000 inside. This means that it is the 2nd generation Intel® HD Graphics processors and the driver you mentioned above is for the first generation of Intel® HD Graphics processor.
You can download the correct driver for your graphics controller at the following link:

Hey Rumanda3,
Based on the information you posted, it seems that the driver you were trying to download is for a 32 Bit Operating system and yours is 64 Bit.
You can get the correct driver for your controller at the following link:
