Intel HD graphics 520 latest driver version 20.19.15.4390 keeps causing crash on Windows 10 machine every time machine tries to go to sleep or hibernate. Machine subsequently reboots. It is a new Dell XPS 13 with 16GB RAM. Below is information from WhoCrashed. Any ideas?

Hi tringo007,

Pre-build systems such as your Dell XPS 13 comes with customized drivers by your pc manufacturer. Our generic drivers available in our website might not work in your system.

I suggest you to install the latest driver provided with Dell support website.

Also, you can try our latest generic driver version 15.40.20.4404

I can't install it. When I try to install it, I get the error in attached screenshot. I have a Dell XPS13. When I go through Control Panel, and search for the latest driver automatically, the system says I have the latest driver and there are no updates available. My driver version is 20.19.15.4390 date 2/18/2016. I still have the issue described at the start of this thread.

The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

The crash report points to igdkmd64.sys which is Intel's graphics driver every time it crashes as the cause of the crash however.

Hi tringo007,

I regret for the inconvenience; however, the system requires a newer customized graphics driver by the laptop manufacturer. Random crashes are not expected on the latest graphics card versions.

Let me allow some time, I would try to expedite the release date of the newer driver by the laptop manufacturer.
