Intel Ignoring Processor for Driver Updates?

Intel seems to have ignored my processor in many Graphics driver updates. Why is this? I have a Dell Latitude 3379 with Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz. Intel shows that drivers are compatible for Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U Processor (3M Cache, up to 2.80 GHz). My processor clearly falls into that range. So why doesn't Intel DSA or Dell Support Assist recognize these updates?

Have you tried the dell support assistant?

You really need to be having this conversation with Dell, not us. It is possible that the driver has been customized by Dell and thus these newer generic drivers from Intel cannot be used.
