So I tried to roll back my driver but it was greyed out. Apparently the causes of this might be
- Your computer has not had a previous driver installed for that device.
- Your computer did not retain the driver files from the original version installed.
Is there a way to roll it back still?

If there is no driver to rollback to, then there is no rollback.
Since you provided no information about your device/system, Download, run, and save the results of this utility as a text file:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility
Then ATTACH the text file (look at the instructions under the reply window).
