Intel Iris 540 vs Intel HD 520: which Graphic card is compatible with 1280x800 resolution?

Hi all,

I'm going to buy a new Intel Nuc 6 and I was wondering which is better or this purpose: I have to use a 1280x800 resolution, so I have to choose between the intel Nuc 6i3 with HD 520 graphic and the intel nuc 6i5 with iris 540.

I've searched for these 2 graphic card but I didn't find complete list of all the resolutions supported...since I've already tried a Nuc 5i3 that I have and it doesn't display well at this resolution, I ask you if it is possible to have a certified list of all the resolutions supported and if someone has already tested it.

The 6i5SYK comes with HD Iris™ 540 and 6i3SYK comes with HD 520. I'm asking since I have a Intel NUC 5i3RYH and we have some problem setting 1280x800 resolution.

5th series also supports officially the 1280x800 resolution?

The 5th gen NUCs supports the maximum resolutions HDMI 1.4a: 2560x1600@60HzDP: 3840x2160@60Hz Now, it is possible to decrease the resolution if the TV or Monitor supports it. Regards,Mike C
