Hello @Robert_U and Intel Community,
I have updated my driver to 10.18.10.3960 so that I can play Titanfall without the strange stretch graphics. The graphics are now fixed and everything plays incredibly smooth, but now I get a titanfall.exe has stopped working and a popup. "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver intel HD graphics for windows8(r) has stopped responding and has successfully recovered." This happens every time about 1 to 5 minutes paying. I have had a hard time finding a solution online.
Would anyone happen to have any ideas to what the problem may be? Am I just waiting for an update? Could it be a page file issue?
i7-4500u @ 1.80GHz (4 CPUs) 2.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Page File: 2807MB used, 9845MB available
Thanks a million.

Hello,
I have upgraded to the latest Intel driver 10.18.10.3960 on a HP EliteDesk 800 Mini with dual DisplayPort HP connected monitors. The issue that happens is when the PC comes out sleep the secondary monitor does not resume at original resolution as it went to sleep with.
If l disconnect the DisplayPort cable and re-connect it comes back at the correct resolution.
Can you please advise?
Thanks

I have a Yoga Pro 3 which routinely crashes a few minutes into Neverwinter game with the following error:
Fatal Error: Direct3D driver returned error code
(DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED) while checking sync query
Technical Details: sync query 0 0x15ddf780 GetData == 0x887a005 0 NF 0
D3D11 Device removed due to E_OUTOFMEMORY 0x8007000e
A printout of DXDIAG is appended below.
Things I have tried:
- made sure I had the latest video drivers from Intel for the 5300
- research on the above code suggests that the last driver that would not crash on a particular game was 9.17.10.2932 in December 2012 LINK: /thread/46821 https://communities.intel.com/thread/46821 I was not able to install that driver but I was able to roll back to a generic driver from 2006 that seemed to extend time until crash from 5 min to at least an hour. At some point system put latest Intel driver on again so I dont know if old driver ever crashed.
- installed latest video drivers from Lenovo which are a few months older than the intel drivers even though they were posted later than most recent intel drivers
- worked through several solutions with tech support from Cryptic/Neverwinter which led us both to the conclusion that this is a video driver issue.
Help will be appreciated.

@ jpkerloch,
Your Dell system is shipped with a graphics driver that has been very customized by Dell to work correctly on your system. I would not recommend using the generic Intel HD Graphics driver unless you absolutely have to as you will loose all of the Dell customizations.
You can get the latest Dell drivers for your system here: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/xps-13-9333/drivers Product Support | Dell US
Thanks
Robert

apperantly intel just cares about the 4th generation because they fixed anistropic filtering on the 4th generation but they never tried to fix the intel 4000 anisotropic filtering
