Intel QuickSync is not working with multiple graphic adapters

Hi, we are very happy using the Wirecast software for our productions.

But since our last hardware update, Wirecast is not work with QuickSync hardware based decoding any more if we are using multiple graphic cards - the internal GPU (Intel UHD Graphics 630 which should bring the QuickSync Hardware encoding) and our AMD Radeon Graphic card together.

Exactly from the moment when we install the PCIe AMD Radeon graphic card, the quicksync encoder options are missing in Wirecast. From the moment we deactivate the AMD PCIe graphic card, Wirecast shows us the QuickSync encoder options. (Re-Activating PCIe card, the options are missing again...

Curious: With other video software like Handbrake or OBS, QuickSync works without any problem with multiple cards.

So is there any chance that WC has problems with this setup (using two graphic units)? Any idea how to fix it?

Hello HarberCandelario,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

Based on the information that you shared, looks like an issue with the tool itself (Wirecast).

If the setup (QuickSync with multiple graphics) was working before the update and if the options show with other tools like Handbrake or OBS, this could mean that with the update Wirecast disables the option or cannot support multiple graphics anymore. My advice would be to get in contact with the Wirecast support team to check for compatibility and supported settings/configurations.

However, if after that you still need help do not hesitate to let me know.
