Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 Buzzing

Hi,

I recently purchased an Asus Zenbook UX501VW and I'm experiencing trouble with the Intel HD 530 card. Overall, there is a buzzing (not loud, but annoying) every time I move the mouse pointer, when I scroll, or when there is any type of animation.

When I disable the Intel HD 530 driver the buzzing is gone. Does anyone experience the same problem? How can I solve this problem? It seems to be software related...

My current driver is 20.19.15.4474.

Thanks.

Hello pedro95cm,

I have seen similar issues like this before. See post:

/thread/101217 https://communities.intel.com/thread/101217

Try uninstalling the graphics driver and then reinstall it, please see http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html?wapkw=intel+display+audio Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display HDMI/Audio Driver, once you uninstall this driver restart your system and then manually install the latest driver that Intel has released:

Please see http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html How to Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 8* or Windows 8.1*

Download the graphics driver here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26228/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88345 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26228/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88345

Caution: Intel supplies generic versions of its graphics drivers for general purposes, but the computer manufacturer can change the features, incorporate customizations, or make other changes to the graphics driver software or software packaging. To avoid any potential installation incompatibilities, Intel recommends that you first check with your computer manufacturer and use the driver software it provides.

Best wishes,

Ivan
