I have registered to receive the windows 10 upgrade in July. I have an HP pavilion 23 inch all in one with a touch screen, and Windows 8.1. I got a message from Microsoft saying that the Intel graphics 4600 device is not fully compatible with Windows 10, and I shall experience problems with my display......... This is disappointing. How will this be solved? Anybody else had this message? Any ideas welcome.

All,, Regarding messaging from Microsoft on Intel HD4600 compatibility with Windows 10. Microsoft has released the following KB information:

Check Windows Update for an updated version of https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2952664 KB2952664 (Windows 7 SP1) or https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2976978?wa=wsignin1.0 KB2976978 (Windows 8.x) then re-check upgrade compatibility

The issue is not Intel HD Graphics drivers. The issue is with the Microsoft tool that checks system upgrade compatibility.

Thanks

Robert

Got the same annoying problem. I guess the 4th generation of Intel is not yet compatible to Windows 10 btw i have a Toshiba Satellite with Intel Core I5 4210u. I wish this gets a update.

All,, currently Windows 10 TP drivers for Intel HD4600 are available via Windows Update. Once Windows 10 officially launches, Intel HD graphics driver will be available on Intel Download Center and be provided via Windows Update. If you currently have Windows 10 TP installed, launch Windows Update to receive the latest drivers and OS updates.

Thanks

@ Brit45, I do not know if Microsoft has updated the KB files yet to include a resolution for this issue. You may need to try again at a later date.

Thanks

Hey i just fix my compatibility issue for real!!!!! I am so excited to get Windows 10. What i do is i install the update Windows 8.1 update KB2976978 then i go to task scheduler and re-run the compatibility appraiser. Follow this steps:(You should first download the update before you do this) Search for Schedule Task then in the library open Microsoft after that Windows and finally Application Experience. You will see the Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser, right click on that and click run. You will to wait for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes or on wards open again the get Windows 10 app and you should see this

you try to look at the device manager on the display adapter, if you look at the intel driver and other drivers, well make a non-active intel driver, restart, gl
