Intel UHD 730 Graphics VGA monitor

Hi all.

I have been using HP Pro Tower 400 G9 Desktop that has 3 video outputs. HDMI, DP and VGA.

Driver installed is version 32.0.101.5768 from july 24.2024.

On this PC I have connected 3 monitors.

Problem is that monitor that is connected to VGA port does not display higher resolution that 1024x768.

When I use driver from HP i have higher resolutions available.

Other 2 monitors work fine with full HD resolution.

How do I solve this?

Thanks in advance

Edit: I've had some issued with HP driver when PC stays locked and colleagues suggested switching to Intel driver, which solved the issues for him.

I think you will have to stick with the HP drivers as this optional VGA solution is not a generic Intel solution. The other problems would then have to be reported to HP Support.

Hello @Ivan_Li

I see the "HP Pro Tower 400 G9" designation cover a wide range of hardware configurations.

Please run the report from Intel Graphics Command Center while having all 3 monitors connected and upload here for analysis.

Also run the Intel SSU report to get a broader perspective on the current hardware and software configuration.

I look forward to hearing from you again.

Best Regards,

Ronald M.
