Hi all,
I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon 7th Gen (Intel® Core™ i7-10710U CPU @ 1.10GHz) with Intel UHD Graphics. I just updated the firmware to 30.0.100.9805 dated 7/23/2021.
I can no longer access 5120x1440 resolution on my Samsung CRG90 49" monitor over HDMI or DP and am limited to 3840x1080.
Has anyone experienced this issue?

guywithaquestion, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this scanerio, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:
Is this a new computer?
When did you purchase it?
Were you able to use the 5120x1440 resolution before?
When did the issue start?
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes besides installing Intel® graphics driver version 30.0.100.9805?
Is there any particular reason why you installed that driver version?
Are you using adapters, converters, or docking stations to connect the monitor to the computer?
Which Windows* version are you using?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Please attach the SSU and Intel® GRaphics report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

Any questions, please let me know.

In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this scanerio, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:
Is this a new computer? I purchased in December 2019
When did you purchase it? See above
Were you able to use the 5120x1440 resolution before? Yes, without any issue until Aug 22 when I updated the driver
When did the issue start? See above
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes besides installing Intel® graphics driver version 30.0.100.9805? No
Is there any particular reason why you installed that driver version? Intel Driver Support Assistant said there was an update available... Should I not update when it says to? That seems silly
Are you using adapters, converters, or docking stations to connect the monitor to the computer? No
Which Windows* version are you using? Windows 10 Pro, Version 21H1
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment? Either
