I have a laptop with integrated UHD graphics. Ive been experencing a issue lately where my screen freaks out whenever im doing specific things. sometimes when im editing in word or premier pro, half of the screen freaks out. In word, sometimes after it freaks out, my screen becomes weirdly blurry before i restart the computer to fix it. The most promonant issue is in minecraft though. sometimes when im fullscreen and i just play, my screen will just freeze. When I tab out and back in again, it flashes back and forth between the mojang logo and a black screen. Taking it out of fullscreen does not solve the issue, and I can hear the game sounds normaly as if nothing was wrong. Ive tried multiple "solutions" but I believe its a bug with the driver itself. Any ideas?

Hello Radplayz,
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.
We would like to gather the following information to better assist you:
- Is this issue present since day one?
- Do you remember if there was a major software or hardware update before the issue started?
- You mentioned having tried multiple solutions. What steps have you tried to solve this issue?
- Does this occur on the Laptop's Display?
- Also, we would like to ask for more system information; please create a system report using the Intel®️ System Support Utility (Intel®️ SSU)
- Download the Intel SSU
- Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel®️ SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
- Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
- To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."
Best regards,
Jean O.

Hello Jean
First off, I believe this was not a issue since day one, however I've had this problem for a while, and cant remember exactly.
I'm not 100% sure if there was a specific hardware update, but it did seem to be more prevalent after i reinstalled windows and installed the drivers for my laptop
I've tried the normal solutions, updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling them, the like. Also I originally thought this issue was isolated to just minecraft, so I tried solutions that was specifically related to the minecraft version i was running, before I realized this happened to other programs as well
Yes, however I have tried this on my secondary monitor (just a old tv i use as a second monitor) and it seems to have the same problem

Hello Radplayz,
Thanks for the information provided.
Checking your system report, it seems that you have our latest 31.0.101.2121 driver. It is important to mention that there are two different types of drivers, generics provided by Intel and Equipment Manufacturer drivers, that are customized to work with each specific system. The best thing to do is to use the drivers provided by the system manufacturer (OEM). Please try installing the latest HP driver. Checking their website, we noticed that the most recent version available is 27.21.14.5206. To install the driver, we recommend a clean driver installation to eliminate the possibility that files from non-custom drivers are causing the issue.
Best regards,
Jean O.

Hi Jean, and thanks for your reply
I will go ahead and do that. One quick question, how do I do a clean install? The installer is different and I'm not sure how to do so.

Thanks Jean
I have tried what you have told me to do. After testing it in minecraft (the only place I can get consistent results at) instead of having the flashing screen, the game... straight up stopped responding? It seems to be just a minecraft issue, so I'm looking for solutions there first, but if you have any idea on what could be going on, any help would be much appreciated. I'll keep things updated here in the meantime.

Hello Radplayz,
Regarding your issue, you should update your BIOS version. The BIOS is installed on version F.09, and the latest version available on the HP website is F.64. If you don't have any other questions about the BIOS update process, you should contact HP support for the proper installation steps.
If the issue continues, we can investigate further if you wish to continue receiving support from us. This will help us determine the root cause of the problem.
Best regards,
Jean O.

Hello Radplayz,
Thanks for your response.
Regarding the BIOS update being blocked, you should contact HP for further information. You can check with them if you are running the latest BIOS update installed on your system.
For the graphics issue, we would like to confirm the following:
- Have you experienced the issue using Word or Premier Pro recently?
- You mentioned that after changing the version, the issue occurred again. Which game version are you using?
- Is this issue present when playing the latest game version?
- Which distribution service did you use to install the game? (Blizzard, Epic, Origin, Steam, Xbox, Ubisoft Connect, Microsoft Store)
- Are you using the game's default version (without any mods)?
Best regards,
Jean O.

Hello Jean
1. No, in fact I have not had the problem in a while, although it could be due to me not using the programs as much as I used to
2. I have tried versions 1.8.9, 1.12, and 1.19.4 (Latest Version)
3. Yes, It still persists even after the latest version
4. My main method is using a launcher called Prism launcher, however I have also tried on MultiMC and the Official Launcher, and I seem to have the same effect
5. Yes, Ive tried both Vanilla and Mods, however I do seem to notice that the more mods I load onto the instance, the more likely it is to glitch out.
A few other things as well. A rhythm game called Osu! seems to want to glitch out as well, however not in the same way as minecraft. It tends to glitch out random parts of the screen and throw them around, however the game is still fully playable.
Another thing, the glitch seems to get worse and worse overtime when it starts unless I restart my computer (Worse as in more likely to happen)
