Good morning everyone.
I have an Acer Aspire 5, model A515-56-327T, equipped with an Intel Core i3-1115G4, currently with 12GB of RAM in Flex Mode, dual boot of Windows 10 and 11 Pro, and a 512GB NVMe SSD.
My graphics driver was version 6987 until a few days ago, and Vulkan support, according to GPU-Z, was version 1.3.260. That is, Vulkan 1.3, according to the official documentation. My applications that used Vulkan worked normally, and my games with DXVK installed were also working perfectly.
However, I decided to manually update the graphics drivers (as I've always done) and to my surprise, I discovered that Intel moved the newest drivers for the 11th Generation mobile processors to another section of the website. But, no problem so far.
After performing a quick install of the latest version, 7080 (without completely wiping the previous driver), my Vulkan support was completely disabled, and now none of my Vulkan-based applications or games work.
Suspecting this might simply be a broken Vulkan component update in this driver version, I decided to reinstall previous versions one by one, cleaning them with DDU. To date, my Vulkan support has not been restored (version 7029 currently installed).
I would like to know if this problem is happening only to me or if other 11th Generation Intel users have been affected. Furthermore, if it turns out to be a widespread problem, I would like someone from Intel to explain if this was done intentionally, and if so, why.

Try the latest version of Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7082. I suggest to perform "clean" installaion of this driver. Any way, according to the Release Notes, Vulkan ver. 1.3 is supported.

Hello @PlayerGab29,
It sounds like the newer Intel drivers may have broken Vulkan support on 11th Gen chips — rolling back with DDU usually restores it, so if it doesn’t, it could be a wider issue others are facing too.
Best Regards,
