Do Intel processors for mobile devices support B580?

Hi, I plan to use this graphics card on a host equipped with an i7-13650HX. This motherboard is somewhat unique since it uses a mobile CPU. I understand the motherboard supports Resizable BAR, but I'm still unsure about its compatibility.

Does the motherboard have a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot?

What is the model number of the motherboard?

ARC requirements:

Hello, and thank you for your prompt response and the helpful link.

1. Answers to your questions:

  •

Motherboard Model: It is an Erying M-ATX motherboard with an onboard Intel Core i7-13650HX CPU and Intel HM770 chipset. A detailed specification sheet (in Chinese) is attached to my original post. The exact retail model number is not printed on the manual, which is common for these MODT boards. They are often identified by the CPU model (i7-13650HX) and form factor (M-ATX).

  •

PCIe Slot: The motherboard has one primary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (not PCIe 3.0). This is confirmed in the specifications.

2. Regarding Intel Arc B580 compatibility on this MODT platform:

Based on the motherboard specifications and Intel’s ARC requirements, I have confirmed the following prerequisites are met:

  •

PCIe Slot: The board provides a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, which meets and exceeds the requirement.

  •

Resizable BAR Support: The motherboard specification explicitly states support for “PCIE resizable bar technology”, which is the most critical requirement for Intel Arc GPUs.

  •

CPU & System: The onboard i7-13650HX is a 13th Gen processor, and the system will run Windows 11, satisfying the software requirements.

My specific question is: Given that this is a MODT (Mobile on Desktop) platform with a mobile-derived HM770 chipset and a custom BIOS, are there any known compatibility issues, specific BIOS settings, or potential pitfalls when using the new Intel Arc B580 (Battlemage) GPU on such platforms?

I am aware of the general power and cooling requirements for the B580. My primary concern is ensuring full ReBAR functionality and stability, as the motherboard BIOS for these niche boards can sometimes be limited or behave differently than standard desktop boards.

Any insights from the community or Intel experts would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you
