Hi everyone,
I have been facing graphics freezing and glitching very frequently since i updated to new drivers on my asus zephyrus g16 2024 laptop. the problems occurs everytime there is an update or change on the display. The event viewer shows following errors every 2 to 3 hours.
1. {"category":"Igcl","level":"Error","message":"ctlEnumLeds, result=1073741834"}
2. {"category":"Igcl","level":"Error","message":"3rd Party - IGCL ctlEnumLeds - Exception","parameters":{"result":1073741834}}
I have tried fresh install of drivers, DDU and windows too but the problem persists. Is there any solution to fix the glitching?

Hello gitbaby,
Thank you for posting your query on the Intel Community Forum!
Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the details regarding the graphics freezing and glitching issue you are experiencing on your laptop. I appreciate your patience and cooperation so far.
To help us further investigate and accurately identify the root cause of the issue, I kindly request a few additional details from your side:
-When the issue occurs, does the laptop screen freeze, flicker, or show visual artifacts?
-Does the system recover on its own, or do you need to force restart the laptop?
-Does the issue occur only when performing specific tasks (e.g., browsing, gaming, video playback)?
-Is the system using hybrid graphics (integrated + discrete GPU)?
-Please confirm the exact Windows operating system version and build currently installed on your laptop
-Does the issue occur on the laptop’s built-in display only, or also when using external monitors (if applicable)?
-If possible, a short video or screen recording capturing the issue when it occurs
-Any relevant Event Viewer screenshots or logs around the time of the issue
-Have you tried installing a previous or older graphics driver version, and if so, does the issue persist?
-Have you Updated the system BIOS and chipset drivers from ASUS?
-Tried running the system in clean boot mode to isolate background software conflicts?
Additionally, to assist us with further analysis, please share the following:
-Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) logs
How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
Note: While generating the report, please ensure the “Networking” option is unchecked
Once we receive the above information, we will review it and guide you with the next steps accordingly.

Hi,
I will try to answer all the questions below.
1. When the issue occurs, does the laptop screen freeze, flicker, or show visual artifacts?
- Yes, first the artifacts occur, then screen stutters and freezes, then screen blacks out after refreshing all the UI on display.
2. Does the system recover on its own, or do you need to force restart the laptop?
- It recovers on it's own but more opened applications cause more stuttering.
3. Does the issue occur only when performing specific tasks (e.g., browsing, gaming, video playback)?
- It usually occurs when something that uses more graphics than opening file browser. LIke when using browser with multiple tabs, or playing video with something else running in background, or ust opening the Steam homepage.
4. Is the system using hybrid graphics (integrated + discrete GPU)?
- Yes it is a hybrid system wit Intel 13th gen UHD graphics and Nvidia 4070. But the issue does not occur when the laptop runs only on Nvidia GPU.
5. Please confirm the exact Windows operating system version and build currently installed on your laptop
- Edition Windows 11 Home
Version 25H2
Installed on 5/19/2026
OS build 26200.6584
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.234.0
6. Does the issue occur on the laptop’s built-in display only, or also when using external monitors (if applicable)?
- The problem occurs on laptop's in built display. I didn't try on external display so i cannot confirm.
7. If possible, a short video or screen recording capturing the issue when it occurs.
- Attached. note: everytime the video freeze is when the screen blacksout and refreshes.
8. Any relevant Event Viewer screenshots or logs around the time of the issue.
- Attached. Note: the multiple errors are similar as the opened events.
9. Have you tried installing a previous or older graphics driver version, and if so, does the issue persist?
- Yes i have tried DDU to uninstall all display drivers (Intel and Nvidia), and installed latest updated drivers for both GPUs. (driver 32.0.101.7085 for Intel and 610.47 for Nvidia)
10. Have you Updated the system BIOS and chipset drivers from ASUS?
- The asus software (myAsus) shows BIOS and chipset drivers updated.
11. Tried running the system in clean boot mode to isolate background software conflicts?
- Yes and issue persists.
I have attached the SSU log too.
Thanks for the help,
Harsh
