I tried to solve ultrawide resolution for my working laptop HP EliteBook 840 H3 combined with Monitor LG 29WL50S-B. Max resol 1920x1080 not ultrawide corresponding (too wide text/icons or cropped display width). I have also private 2 yrs-old HP laptop with radeon R5 chip where resol 2560x1080 ultra wide 21;9 no problem. Is there any chance to have resol ultrawide 21:9 also, not only 4:3 / 16:9 similar to above or equivalent?
Many thanks for your support in advance.

Hello jerry00769,
Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community.
To better assist you, please provide us with the below details:
- Confirm which type of connection are you using between the display and the Laptop (HDMI to HDMI, DisplayPort to DisplayPort, etc)
Provide us with the below reports:
Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)
- Download the Intel SSU https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-
- Open the application and select "Everything" click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
- Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".
With the external display connected, provide the Intel* Graphics Command Center report:
>Go to the Intel Graphics Command Center
>Support
>System Diagnostic
>Generate report.
>Attach the report file.
