Intel iGPU Driver: Windows Update Constantly Installs Older Version

Hello, I am using an Asus X1504VA notebook with an Intel i5 1335u processor. I am installing the "Intel® 11th – 14th Gen Processor Graphics - Windows*" driver, which is the current driver specified by Intel for the integrated graphics unit.

However, after the installation, Windows Update (11 25h2)  automatically installs an older GPU driver from 2024, forcing me to re-install the current driver again. This has been happening for a year.

Please, either Microsoft or Intel should resolve this issue!

Yes, Intel or Microsoft should resolve this issue.  But, they won't.  And, Intel simply has abandoned the issue.

every one has that problem it is just Microsoft new driver and program security protocols  they call it  TPM 2.0 core protection  for win 11 .updates and software and drivers.  if the win up date dose not have it in its data base it will remove it and install the newest one in its data base . it dose it to some of my sound driver to . also will not let me load old usb Sound blaster head phone  drivers devices tell me the driver dose not meet requirement for win 11 core protection . you can turn it off but you could be hacked . look it up TPM 2.0  it is a good read if you do alot of your own computers builds been building desktop since bad in the 1990 win 95 MS has never got updating driver right and the device MFG dont up date drivers like they should MS has to more or less sign off on them  and programs
