Is Intel stopping support for Intel HD graphics for Windows 10 & Ivybridge driver for Linux?

Is Intel stopping support for Intel HD graphics for Windows 10 & Ivybridge driver for Linux? We have tried different Ubuntu flavors 16.04 it seems not to support the resolution or only one resolution. In Windows 10 it seems to support less resolution than windows 7 service pack one. The windows 10 Original release had no issues with the graphics. The Windows 10 November update also had no issues at first, but that has changed. What it does, it flickers at the login screen when logging in or out, it also flickers when opening up the Start Menu but it only does this occasionally but enough to be annoying. Just to see we tested the insider build as well and the flickering was worse. We have returned to using Windows 7 Sp1 & Linux Mint 17.3 they don't have the issue (we restore using a back up image). We are going to try windows10 one more time when the anniversary comes out to see if the flickering stop, we do know it is caused by some update. I have a tester in my family, she tested both 32 bit & 64 bit system of Windows 10 os it flickers on both architectures both releases not insider builds. Yes, we tried different resolutions same issue. We have a Dell all-in-one 2020 inspiron computer. Note, this system does not use the Nvidia driver.

I don't think the driver is technically supported for windows 10. However, Intel providers that driver to Microsoft. Some windows update caused the blinking issue that happens occasionally. I can understand not support Linux anymore but could your engineer at least provided windows update with a fix. Thank you.

My question now is the http://ark.intel.com/products/76345/Intel-Celeron-Processor-G1620T-2M-Cache-2_40-GHz Intel® Celeron® Processor G1620T (2M Cache, 2.40 GHz) Specifications supported for windows 10 or for the upcoming Windows 10 Anniversary Update? However, from reading your link their might be a compatible driver WDDM 1.2 or WDDM 1.3 instead of the HD graphic driver.

I regret to inform you that Intel is not planning to develop new drivers for this platform (Ivy Bridge), please refer to the note below related to the Operating System support for Intel® HD Graphics for your platform.

6 Windows 10 drivers for 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4000 and 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 2500 (formerly codenamed Ivy Bridge) will include support for Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.3. For reference, WDDM 1.2 features are available on Microsoft's website. This Windows 10 driver won't be digitally signed, which means that it hasn' been tested by Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). Note that Windows will alert you with a message if a driver is not digitally signed, but you can continue the installation.

Drivers will be available through Windows updates.
