Is Intel working on fixing the integrated graphics issues? (i.e. Intel integrated graphics 620)

The issue is basically that it does not give an option to let a laptop's discrete or dedicated GPU to run on many desired applications.

The integrated Intel GPU does not allow the better GPU to run when desired.

The Dell xps 15 2 in 1 with an "AMD Vega M GL" GPU has this problem.

AVela2,

Where did you get your drivers? If you downloaded any drivers from Intel's site or from AMD's site, then you are literally guaranteeing that you will have these kinds of problems. You should only use drivers from the laptop manufacturer. The support for switching between the solutions, because it is hardware-implementation-specific, is implemented by the laptop manufacturer, not by Intel and not by AMD, and is implemented within the driver packages that they provide. Overlaying or replacing them with the generic drivers from Intel or AMD will result in features - including switching - failing to work as they should.
