Is it okay to download 3000 update with Family

So i just formatted my laptop, which is a pretty old one. I was wondering if it would be okay to get the graphic driver HD graphics 3000 update when my chipset is Family. I already did it once but rerolled again cause i was unsure. It didn't cause any issues or anything and did make the graphics in games slightly better, though it was 0 difference on performance. But i just wanna ask here to make sure that it's 100% okay.

Kittiez, thanks for joining the Graphics community.

It will be fine to install the latest driver available for the HD 3000. However, bear in mind that our drivers are generic drivers and sometimes these cannot be installed on other systems or the installation of them could overwrite their customizations and possibly change the functionality of the graphics.

Thank you. I installed it and it worked perfectly. My performance might still be horribly bad in every game, but at least the graphics looks better now even if the fps is the same as before c:
