Dear Everyone,
I would like to report an issue I encountered after updating my graphics driver. Following the update, I have been experiencing screen artifacts.
I would like to know what happened in this situation. Will this issue be resolved?

Hi Lalaki,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
Please allow me to ask the following questions, so I can answer your question and provide you viable suggestions:
1. It would really help us if we can get more information about your system. Please download and run our Intel® System Support Utility from this page. To run it, please press "Scan". After the scan is finished, click next and there will be a save button, giving you an option to save the logs to a text file, please do so and attach the file on your reply. You can refer to How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows* for instructions.
2. Did you try rolling back the driver? Did it fix the issue, if you did try it?
Awaiting your response.

Hi Lalaki,
Thank you for the logs.
After analyzing the logs, here are our suggestions:
1. Please try to update to the latest graphics driver, 32.0.101.5989. Check if you still have the problem.
2. Do you have Intel Graphics Command Center or Intel ARC Control installed?
3. Does the issue happen only when your browsing the Internet?
4. Your CPU has a dual GPU setup. Have you also tried updating your Nvidia discrete laptop graphics?
Looking forward to your response.

I tried this version and it works fine!
Intel® Arc™ Pro Graphics - Windows* 31.0.101.5525
I only installed the driver itself.
I don't have Nvidia discrete graphics enabled, and I've confirmed it’s unrelated.
The recently released version still does not work properly under any circumstances.

Hi Lalaki,
Thank you for considering our suggestions so far.
Based on your post, it seems that it is working on an older driver. There are some settings in the Intel Graphics Command Center that could potentially cause the issue that you are experiencing. Do you have one installed or just the Intel ARC Control program?

Yes, no matter which recent version I update to, it never works properly.
I always perform a clean installation, including using DDU for uninstallation.

Hi Lalaki,
I already began the initial phase of investigating your concern.
To further our investigation, kindly provide the following:
1. Monitor model
2. How is the monitor connected to your system? (HDMI, Display Port, etc.)
3. If possible, kindly provide the model of the video cable that you are using.
Looking forward to your post.

It is a notebook(CLEVO N960KR); it does not require a video cable.😋

Hi Ay2,
Thank you for your response.
Much obliged for pointing out that this is a notebook. The reason why I asked for the display model is because it is using a desktop CPU.
Since you have brought up that this is a notebook, sometimes a BIOS update could fix the issue that you are having as your system’s BIOS needs to be in sync with the changes on the latest driver. Can you confirm if you are using the latest BIOS for your notebook?
I will wait for your confirmation.

Yes, it has always stayed up to date, including the microcode.
The last version I know that works properly is this one
Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.5768
Every version newer than it has issues without exception.

Hi Lalaki,
Thank you for waiting for our update.
We are not able to duplicate the issue with all the latest driver versions of UHD 730, it could be an Original Equipment Manufacturer issue, meaning our latest graphics is incompatible with your system. Please reach out to your system manufacturer to get a fix or install the latest driver that they officially released on their site.
We hope for your understanding on our findings, that we validated through long hours of simulation.
