Description:
When playing Elden Ring using multiple configurations, I am unable to remediate an issue with black hatch patterns on mountain sides. Additionally, I am experiencing significant lag and fps issues. I have tried as many permutations as I can think of including changes to:
Arc Control:
GPU Boost: No real change observed
Anisoptropic Filter: on 2x-4x creates extreme starbust effects, but game itself played smoothest yet
Tesselation: At extremely high settings experience some reduction in FPS and hyper realistic water and glare
VSync: Seems to run best on Smart VSync, worst on Application Choice, and somewhere in between for Smooth VSync/Vsync On
mv+: Tested ranges 0-35+ and observed no changes
Increased watt limit to 240: No change observed
Retro Scaling On: Graphics frozen and visual output failure
In-game:
Ray Tracing On/Off: No difference observed
Motion Blur, Depth of Field View On/Off: In all configurations, FPS seems slightly better with these off
Preset Graphics Settings (Low,Medium,High,Maximum): Small FPS improvement seen when set to Low, but still unplayable
Best Configuration Found:
Vsync: Smart VSync
Anisotropic Filter: x16
Tesselation: 25%
GPU Boost: 10%
mV: +15mV
Watts: 240 (10 more than default)
In-Game: RT Off, Motion Blur Off, Depth of Field View Off, Auto Detect Render Off, All others Maximum
In this best configuration, many polygons in the game have a starburst affect where lines can be seen extending out beyond the image. Additionally, there is some degree of cliffside texture issues, but they are not severe. This configuration is buttery smooth. The only problem is the red dots, starburst effects on different shapes. I did not see FPS drop once with this set up.
I'm trying to troubleshoot why the GPU can perform so well with the combo of Smart VSync and Anisotropic Filtration, but without it the game stutters so much I cannot play.

Any help is much appreciated, never seen this with other games. Thank you.

You can try using the latest drivers first and see if that changes anything on your end. I think the latest is .5762
Make sure you have the following just in case.
- Updated OS
- Latest BIOS
- Enabled Rebar
If this was working before, try to remember the previous settings you've had. Otherwise, a patch may be needed on either the Game or Intel Driver. Though, while I was checking the files you posted. The configuration fell short on what Intel says about supported hardware config. Check this article on their desktop guide for Intel Arc Graphics.
I can suggest that you try your card on someone's system that is within that configuration and check if you're just simply experiencing a limitation.
