When waking up PC from Sleep -mode: Magic the Gathering Arena -game runs most on processor and the GPU (Intel ARC A770 LE) doesn't seem to fully run. If I boot the computer it works well again. Happens every now and then after waking up the computer from the Sleep -mode.
Windows 10 is the operating system.

Hello,
I have been testing the game with ne new .4255 driver and haven't encountered the same issue yet.
I'm not sure if there was similar problems before the latest driver before.
There have not been issues without the sleep/wake-up process.
I'll test the game and the sleep/wake-up process for a couple of days now and let's see if it works fine for now.
I have been running the latest versions.
Game Distributor is Wizards of the Coast (Hasbro). It's available direcly from their website and also Epic Games Store.
Do you still want the Intel® Graphics Command Center -report or do I wait until any problems occur?
Best regards,
Ville

Hello VilleH,
Thank you for your response.
Since the issue persists, we would like to recommend the following:
Based on the reports you shared the Windows 10 build you have installed on your system is the 19044. This is an outdated build version, the new version is the 19045, install all the necessary Windows updates and update your Operating System.
Also, your BIOS version is 1601, and based on the Asus website, the latest version available is 1801. You should update your BIOS as this may include some key fixes that may help you with your issue. If you need more information about the BIOS update process, you should contact ASUS support.
For testing purposes, try performing a clean driver installation, and installing the latest BETA driver 31.0.101.4257. Sometimes, corrupted files from previous drivers may cause system malfunctions.
Best regards,
Jean O.

Hello,
I did update Bios to 1801 and having the "system hang after trying to wake from sleep mode" -problem again. I'll test if this is because of having X.M.P enabled from Bios for somewhy. I will also try the beta driver next.
Best regards,
Ville

Hello VilleH,
Before closing this thread, we would like to confirm more information about your issue. Please share with us the following:
- What exactly do you mean with "doesn't work well"?
- We understand you see the game is running off iGPU, but what is the performance difference between iGPU vs. dGPU (FPS or frame-time data)?
- Can you reproduce the issue if iGPU is disabled in BIOS?
- What is the OS power plan configuration set to? performance or balanced?
Best regards,
Jean O.

Hello,
Sorry for not answering for a while.
I updated Windows to .19045 and the Beta Graphics Driver .4257 and haven't encountered problems yet.
I earlier replied when I updated the Bios there was the "Computer don't wake up from the Sleep Mode" -problem again I was having earlier. I did not have running issues with the MTG Arena then, but it is propably that the PC didn't wake up at all when it maybe could happen.
I'll try to explain the problem with the game running issue. The dGPU was behaving like it was idling. GPU clock was around 600MHZ and it goes above that when playing. Maybe around to 1000MHZ normally. Processor was running around maximum (above 95%) and game was lagging / slowing very hard. Processor normally runs at 10-40% when playing that game. It feeled that the graphics were runned by the processor only.
I haven't done iGPU / dGPU tests for FPS for the game. It was running quite nice with the iGPU also before bying the ARC770. I actually had same kind of running issue with the game with the iGPU when built the PC and did not run the drivers for iGPU at the beginning.
OS Power plan have been set to balanced.
Best regards,
Ville

Hello VilleH,
We are glad to know that you have not faced any issues after updating your Operating System and installing the Beta Graphics Driver .4257. We will wait for a while to confirm if the issue reappears one more time. In case you face any issues again, you should try to reproduce the issue with the iGPU disabled in BIOS.
Best regards,
Jean O.
