Hello Greggod666,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.

  1. What is the complete model of your Graphics controller?
  2. What is the brand and model of the monitor?
  3. Was it working fine before?
  4. If yes, what was the last change made in the system before the issue started?
  5. What are the troubleshooting steps that you tried so far?
  6. For me to review the hardware and the installed drivers, please help generate the SSU logs of the system. Please refer to the link below for the steps.

Unfortunately, your information isn't very detailed. However, there are three WQHD monitors on the market with 320 Hz:
GIGABYTE M27Q3
AOC Q27G4SRU
ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACMS

2560 x 1440 @ 144 Hz corresponds almost exactly to what can still be transmitted via HDMI 2.0 TMDS. HDMI ports on laptops are often limited to this standard, as are some Intel Arc A-series graphics cards.

Use the DisplayPort protocol !

If you have a graphics card in your computer, establish a direct DisplayPort > DisplayPort connection.

If you have a laptop with Thunderbolt 4 or USB Type-C w/ DisplayPort 1.4a, use one of these cables:

Please refer to your device's user manual to confirm the specification and functionality of the USB Type-C port.
