Hello, my name is Cătălin..

I've just installed Windows Essentials 2012 ( full, with all its programs ) and movie maker refuses to start.

It's that problem with the graphic card / system requirements not met.

But i have had windows essentials 2012 installed before, but i have just re-installed my windows 1 month ago.

It's a Samsung laptop. Samsung 300E5Z-A03 to be more specific.

Here are some info about it, which i have read on google it's important or w.e.

I just don't get it, why it worked for about 7-8 months until i re-installed my windows, and now it's not working.

I specify that i have installed the same windows.

And it doesn't work again..

Any driver/update that can work with movie maker and still gives maximum performance for gaming ( SA-MP ) ??! It's annoying.. the driver which it worked on, doesn't give the same performance at gaming .. anything?

Please try installing the latest graphics driver available. It was released a few days ago https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24329&lang=eng&ProdId=3524 Intel® Download Center

Sylvia steered you wrong here - the driver posted a few days ago doesn't apply to your system.

Your CPU is Pentium B950 (Sandybridge generation, I believe); latest driver was for Ivybridge/Baytrail generation. The latest driver for your system is 15.28.3517, I believe:

Not sure what you mean by "maximum performance for gaming" versus movie maker working.

You are right rootheday, the correct driver version is v3517 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23764&lang=eng&ProdId=3319 Intel® Download Center

Tcc199, When user are installing ours drivers and you are getting this kind of error, most of the time is because the OEM system does not allow the installation of them and it will be necessary to install the graphics drivers provided by the system manufacture.

You may try forcing the installation by performing manual procedure; however I cannot assure you they are going to work as expected.
