Hi Allan,
The last driver version I've been running on Windows 8.1 was 15.36.23.64.4251. It had CMAA working in Direct3D 9, as did one or two releases before that. Switching mid-August to Windows 10 Pro and 15.40.4.64.4256 immediately broke the CMAA. Note that the crash doesn't occur as soon as D3D9 device is created or geometry rendering starts. Sometimes it manages to run for several seconds before blowing, in which time I see that CMAA does indeed work. Oh, and windowed/full-screen mode also doesn't matter. Hope this helps.
There was a typo in my system's spec: it's i7 4770.

Come on Intel, any official word on this matter regarding the HD Graphics in Skylake processors?
I just had to restart my PC the hard way since it frooze completely due to an ad on the internet.. And even on Firefox the graphics driver crashes, although much less frequently than on Edge or Internet Explorer.
Even on Windows 10 itself (not associated with a specific app or program), the lack of optimization on the graphics driver is noticeable - see the following image of the Busy cursor, it is not smooth, its edges are all pixelated - I have this since I installed Windows 10 on this PC with this processor...

Were you able to install the graphics driver 4279?
Did you try installing drivers manually?

Scaling option does not remain the same when running a game. EX. I run CSGO at 1024x758 and he scaling option changes itself back to Maintain Ascept Ratio even when I had selected Scale to full screen. This issue causes me to play with black bars instead of a stretched resolution.
Issue occurs with any 4:3 resolution

Screen starts flickering if the laptop power state changes (e.g. unplugged) or after the laptop is waken up from Suspension.
The only workarounds are:
1. reboot PC
2. manually restard video driver with the following command: devcon.exe restart "PCI\CC_0300"

Hello Allan,
just leave your pc and let the PC turn off screen, and maybe go in Suspend mode.
After you wake up your PC, it starts flickering.
As soon as I get time I will post a video on youtube so you can see.

This is the most stable driver I installed since Windows 7 days! Before this release, I could not open Photoshop without HD driver immediately crashing. Also, after installing Windows 10 64 bit every day became a torment of blue screens (VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR) or driver crash after initializing graphics intensive apps including the not so intensive Google Maps and media players. None of these problems happened again since sep 9.

some improvements that can be made to Intel drivers:
- include an option to install http://raptr.com/intel Download Raptr Desktop App - Raptr this could also allow some of the game fixes that are writen into the driver to be moved to raptr (like Nvidia and AMD)
- the status of bugs needs to be more clearley displayed in the forum e.g fixed, wont-fix, in-progress , reported and not-reported
- when the driver are built can the product name field be updated (e.g it looks bad having windows 8 when the user could be on windows 7 or 10) the same goes for the copyright (still says 2014)
- there are games that detect the render device name (e.g does it contain the word Intel) is there a list of games that disable options because the of the render device name
an example of this is zuma's revenge that displays errors when enabling hardware acceleration or HD (changing the name of the render device allows the game to work in HD)

the first game i have had problems with is bejeweled 2 no allowing hardware acceleration to be enabled enabling hardware acceleration improves the visual quality of the game and allows the game to automatically enable the high resolution option.
the next game is bejeweled 3 this game requires 3D acceleration for higher resolution to be enabled
the next game is bejeweled twist that requires 3D acceleration for higher resolution to be enabled and other game settings
the next game is plants vs zombies that requires 3D acceleration for improved visual quality
the next game is zuma deluxe that that requires 3D acceleration for improved visual quality
the next game peggle that requires 3D acceleration for improved visual quality
the last game is peggle nights that requires 3D acceleration for improved visual quality
all of the above will allow 3D acceleration to be enabled when the Intel driver is removed

Latest graphics driver has quite a few problems.
New build
Windows 10
Intel 6700k processor
64gb of RAM
Display Port
2560x1600 resolution
Crashes when scrolling in either Facebook or YouTube. Result in vertical blue and green lines on screen. Can access Task Manager and reboot system using CTRL-ALT-DELETE. Can not get back to desktop. This does not happen in a standard web-page and must have something to do with video on web-sites. Also, noticed fluctuations in the LUT mapping when scrolling on these sites prior to the crash.
It seems that this is a problem with web-sites that embed video in a certain way. Others do not exhibit this issue.
Adobe - Camera RAW 9.1 does not work with graphics acceleration checked. Presents a yellow rectangle instead of the image decoded from RAW.
So far the processor seems wonderful, however will probably need to go with dedicated graphics (don't want to) unless the above issues are checked.
