I have been playing same video on HD 4600/ HD 5500/HD 6100 graphics Windows 10 fully updated. I even loaded some free video codecs http://www.codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_full.htm Download K-Lite Codec Pack Full

but I did not get any tearing issue.

If you are still experiencing issues, please be sure to fill out this information as complete as possible.

Seems like there is a lot of bugs on this driver. I'll try to list every thing I have found.

*Problems during video playback.

Some .mp4 files only shows black screen on the default media player in Windows 10 AND Windows Media Player but it still plays sound. Most .mp4 files work properly (Note that this doesn't happen on Windows 8.1 using the driver version 15.36.23.4251, prior to updating to Windows 10, some .mp4 files are just showing black screen.)

*Graphical artifacts while watching YouTube Videos.

Graphical artifacts are sometimes observed while watching YouTube videos. Screen tearing is also observed.

I don't know yet if it happens on offline playback.

I am currently using Firefox ver.39 with HTML5 video player.

Here is some screenshots of what happens when watching a YouTube video. Graphical artifacts and screen tearing problems.

The video returns to normal after about 2 seconds, then happens again at random.

*Taskbar sometimes flickers to a white box, icons flicker too.

This happens at random but it doesn't happen on Windows 8.1.

*A webpage sometimes becomes blank when you Alt+Tab or minimize it.

Not really a big issue because minimizing it again or reloading the page makes the page back up again.

*Unplugging or plugging the AC adapter from laptop causes black screen.

This issue is still not fixed even though this has been happening on video driver version 4222 (probably only happens on Intel HD 4400 driver.)

My System Specs:

I tried to replicate the issue you have reported using different Intel® HD Graphics controllers, I have not been able to replicate your computer issue.

I am using the latest video drivers 4256 and Firefox version 40.0.3.

If you still need to submit an issue, please follow the guidance/process in this sticky

Just installed windows 10 on my HP ENVY 15-j000

Manufacturer: HP

OS: Windows 10 64-bit

GPU: Intel HD 4600 and NVIDIA GT 740M

CPU: Intel Core i7-4700MQ

RAM: 8 GB

The issue is with the Intel HD graphics control panel. In windows 8 there used to be a collage option to allow laptop users to use multiple external displays however in the windows 10 version that option seems to be removed. I chatted with intel tech support and they advised that I post the issue in this thread. Will windows 10 driver be updated so that collage mode will be restored? If not is there another way I can use multiple displays with my laptop? Thanks!

I am having exactly the same issue! I used to use collage mode with my laptop display as part of the collage. After Windows 10 update I was unable to use the laptop built in display as part of the collage - Only the external monitors. I used this mode for widescreen gaming and now i can't do it leaving me with more screens that i know what to do with. Please fix this - i really want my triple monitor gaming back

Can you post a snap shot of the Graphics control panel /Multiple displays? Please make sure you are connecting two external monitors at the moment of the snapshot.

Same video tearing issues here using the latest Win10 driver on my Sony Vaio Duo 13 (Intel Core i5 / HD 4400 Graphics):

Tearing is terrible (using HTML5 video). Choppy and video tearing watching Flash video. Affects Edge, Chrome and Opera.....but not Firefox (go figure?). This driver needs fixing quickly!

I had the same video tearing issue with my Sony Vaio pro 13 (Intel Core i7 / HD 4400 Graphics) and I could solve this by turning off 'X-Reality for mobile' in Vaio Control Center.

Can't Add custom resolution (1680x1050@60hz) higher than of native recommended(1440x900@60hz) resolution it just reverts back to native when apply is pressed

Try downloading and installing new graphics drivers and add new custom resolution with driver version 4279.

@all with video problems.

I have a Win 10 x64 system after clean install, with latest 4256 Intel drivers on a Core i7 4790 (iGPU HD 4600)

I have no video problem at all with on-line content like Youtube in any browser or with off-line content like various clips and movies.

I suggest first to go to the Control Panel of the drivers and put everything in "Video" settings to "application settings".

Don't ever let "drivers settings" in the control panel.

Also disable everything from "Video" settings, that can't be put to "application settings"

Then try again those videos that had problems before.

Would you happen to know if they are/have released a win 10 driver for hd3000 graphics card with i3 processor as i currently have no display since upgrading. Only way i can get it to work is to disable the hd graphics driver

The Intel® HD Graphics 3000 does not provide driver support for Windows 10. See the list of supported operating systems for your graphics controller:
