No Performance Option in Control Panel (under 3D)

I have a number of HP Mini (mini PC systems) that I use to control Microsoft Kinect V2 cameras. All of these PCs use integrated graphics and run Windows 10. I am attempting to hit 30 fps for all systems in the Kinect Configuration Verifier. The weird thing is that the slower Pentium systems (e.g. 2957U with integrated graphics) are significantly outperforming the Core i3-6100T system (Intel 530 graphics). I'm trying to work out why.

Under the 3D settings section of the Intel Graphics control panel, I see an option to optimise for performance for the pentium systems. I don't see this option in the control panel on the Core i3 system. Has it been removed? Is there an equivalent?

Any other thoughts as to why the i3-6100T might be performing much slower than the 2957U systems when using the Kinect?

The RAW benchmarks are quite different:

NB the system have the same RAM.

All systems including this one are connected by the USB 3.0 ports to the kinect sensors (either front or rear). This model does have a USB C port, but I don't use it.

Unfortunately, my system will not allow me to install the latest driver. It says it's not validated for the PC system (by the vendor). Perhaps this is a hang over from it being an Enterprise OS (I bought it second hand from eBay).

If I use the Intel utility to scan the system, it says my drivers are all up to date, including the graphics / video driver.

Can I force the install?

Max

Hello DrMaxP,

1. Try installing the Intel Graphics Driver manually. Download the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27484/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-65-?product=88345 ".zip" file and follow the steps below.

1 - Unzip the file to a designated location or folder.

2 - Right-click Windows Start icon and open Device Manager.

3 - Click Yes when prompted for permission from User Account Control.

4 - Expand the Display adapters section.

5 - Right-click the Intel® graphics entry and select Update Driver Software.

6 - Click "Browse my computer for driver software".

7 - Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".

8 - Click "Have Disk".

9 - Click "Browse".

10 - Access the designated location or folder, and access a folder called "Graphics".

11 - Select the file called "igdlh64" or "igdlh".

12 - Click Open, then click OK, and finally click Next. Drivers are now being installed.

13 - Reboot your computer

2. Regarding the performance of the processors, please install the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool and attach the scan to the thread.
