No "Override Application" setting with 6th Generation Intel Graphics Control Panel (i5-6200U)

For older Intel GPUs (4400, 5500, etc) there was a setting in the Display tab that allowed the Control Panel scaling to override application settings.

I recently got a new device with the Intel Core i5-6200U. In the Control Panel, there is no option that allows the overriding of application settings. However, there are several scaling options.

I appreciate the scaling options but if running fullscreen games at a different aspect ratio (4:3, 16:10, etc.) you get black bars.

Intel please add this back. I have the latest 15.40.20.4404 beta driver, but the Control Panel is still the same for older versions.

Thank you Intel, the option was added in the 4501 beta driver.

Now, if we can get some proper OpenGL and maybe a CP in linux....

Thanks, great to know this is being worked on.

As for optimized games, it would be great for Intel to release something akin to a "Gaming Control Center", where individual settings, resolutions, COLOR, and quality can be applied per game or application.

I would love to see an option where you can adjust application-specific settings.

Hi, new driver released ~6 days ago, version 15.40.22.4424, and no "override application" setting implemented. Cmon guys, this should be a simple fix.

Hi negusp,

Thank you for your update. Maybe future graphics driver update includes higher OpenGL versions. In regards to Linux; Intel has an Open Source division with Linux graphics drivers. I suggest you try them.
