On the Q57 chipset can I use a USB or striaght PCI slot to get another Monitor without disabliing the integrated graphics?

Specifically a Intel DQ57TM. Documentation I've seen indicates that only using the pcie x16 slot for a graphics board will disable the two native DVI conections. Not sure if I am reading it right. Can I run the third monitor off a USB or old PCI board and keep the on board graphics?
