Is there a way to install Intel updates in a single click? I have limited bandwidth, so don't want it to automatically update in case it interferes with Zoom meetings or suchlike. Windows 11 - which is far more complicated than Intel drivers - can be manually updated at a single stroke. But updating Intel drivers is almost as complicated as completing a tax return. Is there an easy, manual alternative?

Hi @GrumpyInYorks,
Thank you for posting here in community. Intel Driver & Support Assistant (DSA) is the perfect solution for your needs. This official Intel tool lets you scan for driver updates with one click, then manually choose when to download and install them - giving you full control over bandwidth usage and timing. It's much simpler than hunting for individual drivers and works like Windows Update but specifically for Intel hardware. Download it from Intel's support page by searching "Intel Driver & Support Assistant." You can scan for updates anytime, download them during off-hours, and install when convenient.

Thank you for your reply, and following up. I already use that driver and support assistant. As you say, it lets you scan for driver updates with one click. But then it requires numerous clicks, waits, and more clicks to downland and install each of the drivers, which is an unnecessarily time consuming process. And if I continue working on other stuff, the latest Intel stage can get lost behind all my windows. My request is for a single click that initiates all of search, download, and install - start to finish in one click, not just search in one click.

Hi @GrumpyInYorks,
Thank you for the detailed feedback and clarification regarding the driver update process. I acknowledge your request for a single-click solution that would handle the entire workflow - search, download, and installation - from start to finish.
I will submit your recommendation to our development team for consideration in future enhancements. Please note that the software is currently provided "as is" and we cannot guarantee future updates, but your input will be taken into consideration for potential improvements.
We appreciate you taking the time to share this valuable feedback with us.
Best regards,
Randy T.
