OpenGL ES Error — "Can't find Intel graphics"

When launching a specific application, I'm encountering an OpenGL ES Error that says "can't find Intel graphics".

Currently using an MSI Z370-A Pro with a GTX 1070 and latest drivers.

For the record, this error is exclusive to my current system and not one that I've encountered before with the same application version spanning the last two years.

Last response to this thread as I've finally found a solution: don't use Intel.

Seriously. Use DDU, wipe the Intel drivers, enter the BIOS during the required reboot and disable the IGP. From that point forward, the broken drivers are gone and since the IGP is disabled, Windows Update won't seize control and manually reinstall the IGP.

If you have the UHD 630, just use dual input with your GPU. Don't waste your time with the IGP and the consistently broken drivers that Intel puts out and never wants to own up to.

And don't follow these ridiculous ritual ceremonies that guys like Al.Hill like to put together, where you do everything but consider Intel hardware/drivers as the culprit.

Thanks for nothing, Intel. Even Windows Support was more helpful.

And, if you do not mess up the driver installation in the first place, you will not have a problem to begin with. Millions of users have desktops with nvidia or amd cards, and intel processor graphics, and have never had problems.

All of this comes down to proper troubleshooting procedures, which some users do not understand.

Salve
