PROBLEM WITH INTEL GRAPHICS COMMAND CENTER

Hi

My graphic driver comes with its own version of intel graphics command center which unfortunately, won't start. However the app works : unintentionally, I must have hit the "stretch screen" shortcut, and since then my screen won't stretch to full screen unless I get the highest resolution and I don't want to for many reasons.

So I just need the shortcut for that. Does anybody know it ?

I did try the command center from the microsoft store but it won't start either.

Did you try the Beta version that is (also) available in the App Store?

Ok, the other other thing i can think to try is a clean graphics reinstallation. Here is my step-by-step process for doing so:

  1. Download - but do not install just yet - the latest driver package from the Intel site.
  2. Disconnect system from Internet. Unplug Ethernet cable and/or disable Wireless. Note: if using Wireless, it should be disabled in such a way that reboots can occur without it automatically re-enabling.
  3. From the Start Menu, right-click on the Intel Graphics Command Center entry and select Uninstall. Repeat for the Beta version if you also have it installed.
  4. In the Apps and Features applet, check to see if there is an Intel Graphics entry. If not, skip to Step 7.
  5. Click on the Intel Graphics entry and select Uninstall.
  6. Reboot the system, keeping Internet access disconnected.
  7. From Device Manager, check if there is an entry for an Intel Graphics adapter in the Display Adapters category. If you see only the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, skip to Step 11.
  8. Right-click on the entry for the Intel Graphics adapter and select Uninstall Device. Checkmark Delete the driver software for this device and then click on the Uninstall button.
  9. Repeat step 7 until the entry for an Intel Graphics adapter entry no longer appears in the Display Adapters category or the option to Delete the driver software for this device is greyed out.
  10. Go back to Step 6.
  11. Install the new driver package that you downloaded in Step 1.
  12. Reboot the system.
  13. Reconnect Internet access.
  14. Test.

Hope this helps,
