Good morning my problem is this: I just bought a Windows 10 pc, with processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i3-7100 CPU @ 3.9Ghz, with integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 video card, I do not have separate video card. I have a Syncsmaster sa300 19 "monitor, I use VGA cable. Currently the resolution I use is 1366x768, 60pHz that supports my monitor. Intel HD Graphics 630 driver version is: 21.20.16.4534 The case is that every now and then it can be 1 hour, 2 hours or even 10 minutes after the computer is running. My screen goes completely black for 1 or 2 seconds (the audio is still working) which is a bit annoying. I went to warranty and was told that there was no problem with the hardware. I tried changing the monitor, cables and the same thing happened, they could help me with this problem. Thank you.

EdwardMS: I just received an update on the research we were doing on this matter. Based on the fact that motherboard does not have a VGA port, if you are using a VGA-HDMI/DVI-D adapter the problem could be related to it, there might be compatibility issues with some adapters.
The Sync master sa300 19 "monitor, VGA; does not have HDMI port, that is why it cannot support higher resolutions or 4K. From DxDiag it indicates that monitor native mode is 1366 x 768 (p) at 59.790Hz. Therefore there is no way to get higher resolutions out of it
In regard to the errors, those are Windows* related and could be in reference to corrupted files and other reasons, in that case we recommend to get in contact with Microsoft directly:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/
To try to fix this problem, we can re-install driver 4771 again but this time if it is possible, to use a 4K monitor/HDMI cable in order to be able to use 4K resolution.
Any questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Alberto R

Sorry for responding late.
Currently I have no other monitor with hdmi port and so I could not say if it is the cause of the problem is the monitor.
A query if I buy a dedicated graphics card would solve this problem?

I have the same problem. Intel HD Graphics 630 and MSI B250M PRO-VDH. Every 5-10 minutes my screen goes completely black for 1 or 2 seconds. IMPORTANT: MSI B250M PRO-VDH have VGA (D-Sub) port - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B250M-PRO-VDH/Overview Overview for B250M PRO-VDH | Motherboard. I try many BIOS-es, other CPU and other RAM - still the same. Flickering is only when Intel Driver is installed - no matter what version. When I'm going to BIOS or run portable Windows from pendrive there is no filickering effect. Please help !!!

EdwardMS: No problem at all, thank you for letting us know those updates.
In regard to your inquiry, based on the fact that the flickering problem could be related to the adapters you are using, yes, a video card might be able to fix this issue, but actually we recommend that if you have the chance to test a video card before you purchase one to please do that, it will be the best thing to do for scenario in order to make sure that it will work as expected. Remember that Intel does not manufacture video cards, so we cannot confirm it will fix the issue for sure.
Any questions, please let me know.

I had an inconvenience with the monitor and had to return it.
So I could only use it one day but on that day I use it there was no problem. I was finding out and another user has the same problem that mine even has the same parts as my pc. He told me that only the problem occurs when using the D-sub (vga) port.
In the hdmi port, no problem occurred to me.
I will try to get the monitor as soon as possible to report this inconvenience.

Unfortunately I did not get the monitor with an HDMI port but I must assume that this would be the solution to the problem.

Hello,
I have approximate same issue with intel 630 onboard graphic card (gigabyte motheboard Z270X ultra gaming with 630 hd graphic onboard and hdmi output) in pair with Samsung SyncMaster T24B300 connected via hdmi.
I have nvidia dedicated video card (GTX 1050 Ti) and I have connected 2 monitors and one LED TV (3 devices: 2 on dedicated card and 1 on onboard card). Everything works fine before windows update...
After Windows 10 update, my intel 630 driver goes crazy...
Sometime goes monitor to black and didn't work anymore until I reinstal the driver. After reinstall the driver, it works fine but after 10 min, or half hour or sometime, it goes fault again, it turn off the monitor and the monitor.
The only way to make to work is reinstall the driver again.
Please give me an solution. I change everything, cables, switch monitors etc. Nothing works.
Thank You

I already solved the flicker problem with HDMI - Vga adapter. The problem is only with the VGA port of the MSI B250M board PRO-VDH If you use the HDMI or DVI port there would be no problems. Thanks for the help and hopefully help this issue to other users if they have problems with this plate.
