Hi guys, some weeks ago I built my new pc with i5 6600K, MSI Gaming M5, 2*4GB Corsair ddr4 Vengeance LPX @3000mhz and a Corsair HX620W(I already got it). I have a problem because sometimes the screen doesn't work(black screen with a written message "not supported mode"). The screen starts with some "interferencies": sometimes the problems solves itself, sometimes i have to reboot the pc. I have already update the MB BIOS to the 1.4 version and I have updated the VGA driver to the latest avaiable version. It's not a problem of temperatures(idle 24°C, in game 42°C-I have a Noctua NH-U9S)... What can I do? Should I ask for an RMA? Is it a driver problem or is it related to the CPU/MB? Thank you!

Description
Provide a detailed description of the issue
Sometimes some lines(or better, some rectangular points) appera on the screen: when it happens, the screen blackouts("not supported mode" appears on the screen, or "check for the screen connection). Only thing to do is to reboot the system, but sometimes I have the B2 error on my motherboard(that is linked to a VGA problem, probably the BIOS or something like that)
Does it fail every single time, or only sometimes?
If you can offer a % rate please do.

Hi,
i5 6600k here, with z170a gaming m3 msi mobo and 16gb ripjaws @3000mhz.
Weeks spent with black screen at any kind of IGC drivers update.
THan i read this post and activated XMP via bios.
Machine was black screened and video came back just after reboot with xmp on. With latest intel drivers perfectly installed, exactly the last thing i was doing before the black screen.
So by my experience is a memry problem and not a failed CPU
