Hello, a couple of weeks back I decided to update my graphics driver as I hadn't done it in a while. After I updated, to the latest driver, version 15.28.12.64.2932 for the 2nd Gen Core Processors, I found that certain games, would just display a black screen but the audio was working perfectly - no change there. I can't figure out why this is, I've tried using a different driver several times and updating my BIOS, but to no avail. I am using a Dell XPS 15 L502X laptop, which uses Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M. I have found one other forum post which has the exact same problem as mine, linked here -
I've tried changing what programs use what GPU, and as far as I can tell the games are running on the NVIDIA GPU, but that doesn't make much sense as this problem only started when I updated the Intel graphics driver. (Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I'm not sure.) I'm not sure what else to do so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I ran DxDiag, information can be found below.
Thanks, Ben.

Hi Ben Millington,
Since your laptop comes with two graphics cards then the generic graphics driver from our website will not work properly. For computers with switchable graphics there is a special graphics driver that needs to be used. That driver is made by the laptop manufacturer. I recommend using the latest graphics driver DELL provides in the following website http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/xps-l502x http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/xps-l502x
Thanks!
