So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

Sorry, I just didn't find the option to add attachments, so I opened a new question, how do I delete it, and there seems to be something wrong with my network, it is difficult to reply normally

Hello ana666,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.

To better assist you on this matter, we would like to request the following information:

  • As per my understanding, your issue is that the besides Resizable BAR being enabled in the BIOS, the Intel® Arc™ Control software reports it being disabled. Is it correct?
  • Is this the first graphics adapter installed on your system?
  • Could you share a screenshot of the Intel® Arc™ Control reporting issue?

Best regards,

Jean O.

Yes, the Intel® Arc™ Control software will report it being disabled when I enable the svm option to use a vmware virtual machine. I guess it just seems to be a display error?

This is not the first graphics adapter installed on the system, I have used the N card before.

Hello ana666,

Thanks for the information provided.

Looking at the screenshot you shared and that the issue is with the Intel® Arc™ Control software, we would like to let you know that Intel is currently investigating this issue. It appears to be aesthetic since Resizable BAR is enabled (you can confirm by checking with a 3rd party application such as GPU-Z).

At the moment, our workaround is to try Disable Secure Virtual Machine (SVM) option, as you have tried.

Since this requires more effort on our end, we are considering closing the thread. However, we would like to know if there is any other question you have.

Best regards,

Jean O.

Hello ana666,

Before we close the thread, we would like to recommend you use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to uninstall the driver in safe mode. Then install our new BETA driver 31.0.101.4499. This new driver package contains Arc Control 1.69.5033.3. Let us know if you still see the issue.

Best regards.
