Quartus "Connected to dangling logic. Logic that only feeds a dangling port will be removed."

Hi guys

I attach here verilog code for a module which beside some other stuff, grab external carrier detect signal from modem and this signal retimed is also intended to drive an output port for led purpose. Quartus seems consider dangling port and ties it to gnd. Can i avoud this situation?
