Question on missing plug-in for Mac

I installed some updates on my imac last night and now every time I attempt to view a website I see a message saying "missing plug-in" . I know I have an intel I3 processor. I have searched the intel site and can't locate what I need to fix this problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
