Rainbow Six Siege - Frame pacing issues

Hi, I have observed frame pacing issues with Rainbow Six Siege (both DX11 and Vulkan)

When frame rates are unlocked issue is happening. Frames rates are high but its not smooth.

Capping frames doesn't solve it, only the in game vsync solve the issue.

Kindly please relay this issue to the driver team.

Please share with us the following information to assist t with this issue:


  • Share a short video showing the issue.
  • Share a screenshot of the in-game graphics settings configured.
  • Is Resizable BAR enabled on your system?
  • How much fps do you get when V-Sync is enabled on the system?
  • Create a log file with the Intel® System Support Utility and attach it to your response to get more information on the hardware configurations.

Share a short video showing the issue.
- I do not have.

Share a screenshot of the in-game graphics settings configured.
- see attached.

Is Resizable BAR enabled on your system?
- yes

How much fps do you get when V-Sync is enabled on the system?
- never goes down 144 fps.

Create a log file with the Intel® System Support Utility and attach it to your response to get more information on the hardware configurations.
- I do not have this software installed. Willa Dxdiag suffice? Please see attached

If you could record and share the video showing this issue it will be better so we can better understand the outcome that you are looking for as well as the behavior that you are experiencing. As for the Intel® System Support Utility software the link is in the previous, follow the instructions to download, install and create the log file that we need you to attach.


  • I see that you get 144fps and the issue does not happen when V-syn is enabled, Doesn't this work as a solution for the issue? How much fps do you get when V-Sync is not enabled?
  • How is frame pacing being measured and what is the frame time that you are experiencing?
