Dell Studio Hybrid 140g featuring mobile intel GM965 express chipset. Recently upgraded from windows 7 to 10 (32 bit) which has probably caused my issues.
Hooked up to a Panasonic plasma screen via hdmi (model th-42pv500b) for which there is no overscan switch off option.
In windows 7 the intel control panel allowed me to make the necessary adjustments to undo the screen cropping effect. In windows 10 update the control panel is no longer accessible and the plasma screen crops screen content at the recommended 1280x720 resolution which means the taskbar and start menu are not visible.
Have trawled the intel site for various driver updates and control panel downloads but what there is will not install. Links to 965 chipset drivers no longer work.
Any suggestions?
